Dragonkind is Rebecca Yarros' official interactive story, a game you play at dragonkind.com. This threshing dragon guide separates what players have confirmed from what is still rumor, and points you to the best places to read more.
Every claim here wears a label.
Each label tells you how much to trust a tip. Players are still working this out, so we keep what is known apart from what is guessed.
- Confirmed
Stated by the author or visible in the official experience itself.
- Community report
Reported by several independent players. Likely, but not proven.
- Rumor
One comment, a guess, or something players contradict. Treat as a story.
Four doors in.
How a Threshing works
From the email sign-up to the moment a dragon chooses, in the order players meet it.
Colors, tails and bloodlines
What the six colors suggest, how tails differ, and what players have actually been dealt.
Questions players keep asking
Retry waits, random outcomes, black and blue dragons. Each answer carries its label.
The reading list
Reddit threads, fan wikis and guides worth your time, and why each one is useful.
The same answers rarely lead to the same dragon.
Players report identical choices ending in a bonding for one rider and a burn for another. No guaranteed route has been shown.
What does each dragon color mean?
Four things share one name.
Search results blend them together. Here is how they differ, so a tip for one does not mislead you in another.
